Write down the exact service that asks for a Korean number and whether it needs incoming SMS, outgoing calls or identity verification. A number printed in product details does not guarantee that every Korean platform will accept it for account verification.
Check identity and activation rules
A voice or SMS plan can require passport verification or an in-person activation step. Confirm the accepted traveller status, activation hours and whether the number is available immediately. Do not upload identity documents anywhere except the authorised provider flow you deliberately selected.
Keep data and voice decisions separate
A plan with a number can still have different data, hotspot and validity limits. Compare those features after confirming the number works for the intended task. The finder rules out data-only recommendations when you state that a Korean number is essential.
