Maps: install NAVER Map first

VISITKOREA’s May 2026 traveller guide recommends NAVER Map for finding routes and lists English support. Save your accommodation and arrival station before flying so the first route does not depend on airport Wi-Fi.

Trains and intercity transport

Use KorailTalk for Korean rail bookings. VISITKOREA also lists Klook for express-bus booking and GoHanpass for intercity transport. Install only the booking apps your itinerary actually needs instead of creating five accounts in advance.

Taxis: keep one foreigner-friendly option

The official guide lists k.ride for taxi hailing without a complicated verification flow and with English support. Keep the destination written in Korean as a backup and confirm the live payment options inside the app.

Official city information

The 2026 Seoul Guidebook recommends VISITSEOUL for attractions, restaurants, events, routes, maps and interpretation or guide information. It is an information layer, not a replacement for a navigation or booking app.
