1. Build a Korean place card before searching
Start with a venue’s official page, confirmed booking page or official tourism listing. Copy the Korean place name and road-name address from the same source; never invent a Korean spelling from an English name. For restaurants, cafés and hotels, also keep the official phone number because it can distinguish branches with similar names. This card stays on your device—Korea Trip Tools does not collect it.
2. Search, then verify the result
Search the Korean name first. When several results appear, match the neighbourhood, category, phone, address and pin instead of choosing the first English-looking result. NAVER describes its map service as combining maps, directions and local place information, but a live listing can still change. Open the venue’s own current source again before relying on hours, reservation status or a temporary closure.
3. Save the exact pin and check the last 200 metres
Save the verified result, then run directions from the real starting point. Stations, department stores, palaces and hotels can have several entrances, so inspect the final walking segment and station exit. For a taxi, keep the Korean name and road address visible offline and compare the destination pin before departure. Transliteration by itself is not a reliable branch identifier.
