Put identical travel on both sides
Use the same travellers, dates and eligible KORAIL journeys for both choices. For individual tickets, enter the current per-person totals. For the pass, the calculator applies the official adult and child prices. Adding extra journeys only to the pass side creates a comparison for a different trip and overstates the saving.
Add excluded spend to both totals
SRT and metropolitan rail are outside the pass. If the trip needs them, add their full group cost as uncovered spend. Because that amount remains payable whichever option wins, it appears on both totals. This prevents an apparently cheap pass from hiding a substantial separate purchase.
Use the result as a buying order
If individual tickets win, continue to the official KORAIL train search and reserve the actual services. If a pass wins, confirm visitor eligibility, passport matching, starting date, refund terms and seat availability before paying. A commercial booking link never changes which option wins the calculation.
