Use the station that the train serves
The high-speed arrival is Singyeongju rather than a hotel-zone label. Search the official station pair and selected date, then keep the onward local journey visible. A headline KTX time does not include reaching the accommodation, luggage handling or waiting for the final connection.
Count Gyeongju as a real stop
A route that changes trains or cities too quickly can make a pass appear productive while weakening the holiday. Give Gyeongju a useful sightseeing block in the itinerary builder first. Then enter only the rail journeys that remain; do not add a speculative day trip to manufacture pass value.
Separate eligible and local spend
KORAIL-operated intercity trains belong in the point-to-point basket. City buses, taxis, metropolitan lines and SRT do not. The calculator’s uncovered field is for group rail spend excluded from the pass, while local transfers should be budgeted separately in the payment planner.
